We recently spent 9 nights at Reflections of Port Douglas (Dec 13th -22nd) and could not rate it high enough. Carmel and John are magnificent hosts and nothing was too much to ask of Carmel. All day trips, shuttle services and restaurant bookings were made by Carmel and based on her excellent advice. The 3 bedroom apartment we had was spacious, clean and had all required amenities. Our 16 and 13 year old kids loved the space and spent much time on the balcony overlooking the pool and talking to friends via the available wireless internet. The local restaurants and cafes are very well priced with fantastic service and great coffee . The Beach Shack and Salsa are a must.
We miss our early morning and late evening walks along the warm water beach and are already talking about when we could get back to Reflections.

We stayed for five nights during the humid wet season and found the accomodation to be very comfortable but most importantly – cool and dry! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking but we spent our evenings dining at different restaurants in town (just down the street). We were blown away by Nautilus Restaurant. We had a side unit with a great garden view. We were out on excursions every day or walking 4 mile beach. The managers were friendly and helpful with all requests (went out of their way for a conference call). The location was perfect!
